I suppose that a welcome is in order.
I remember as a kid taking photos on vacations with an instamatic or a 126 cartridge camera. It was always fun having the photo, putting it in a book, and looking back on it to remember the journeys. I suppose I've always been fascinated with the journey rather than the destination. Maybe that explains why my life seems to wander from place to place.
My first "real" camera was a gift from my Grandmother and Uncle John when I graduated from Baylor a number of years ago. That was back when we used 35mm film and had to actually worry about framing a shot. Now digital is the rage, and you can take 500 photos hoping that one of them turns out. Anyway, I have to always say thanks to Grandma and Uncle John for setting me on the photo journey. Seems that the journey of the photo was a good match for the journey of life.
Browse around inside at your leisure. I've used thumbnail photos as the links to get around. If you'll scroll over the image, you'll see the category. Click on the thumbnail and you can get to the subcategories and the photos. Right now, I've divided everything into four categories: Places, Friends & Family, Events and Nature. That will likely grow. I hope you enjoy seeing some of my memories of the journey. I've pretty much enjoyed it, even if I'm still not sure of the destination.
